Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter and brown sugar until fluffy.
  4. Mix in eggs, apple cider, and vanilla until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just blended.
  6. Drop rounded dough balls onto a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.
  7. For the caramel filling, melt butter in a saucepan; stir in brown sugar and cream; boil for 3-5 minutes; remove from heat and add vanilla.
