  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 yellow bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 green bell pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch in a bowl to create a marinade. Add the sliced beef and marinate for about 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat and add vegetable oil.
  3. Sear the marinated beef in a single layer for about 2-3 minutes without stirring, then flip and cook for another minute. Remove from the wok.
  4. Stir-fry all three bell peppers and onion in the same wok for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the wok with vegetables and toss everything together over high heat until combined.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
