  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh green beans
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir-fry green beans for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the skillet; cook for an additional minute.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using). Pour over the chicken and green beans; stir to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
