- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 medium zucchini, sliced
- 1 cup cauliflower florets
- 1 medium carrot, sliced into rounds
- 1 handful kale or spinach, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Splash of water for steaming
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic if desired and sauté until fragrant.
- Add broccoli, cauliflower, carrot rounds, and zucchini to the pan. Stir frequently for about 5-6 minutes until they begin to soften.
- Incorporate chopped kale and a splash of water. Cover with a lid and let steam for another 2-3 minutes until all vegetables are just tender.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving hot.
