  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup long-grain or basmati rice
  • 2 cups water
  • Salt, to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the rice under cold water until clear. In a pot, combine rinsed rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until the water is absorbed.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet; cook until pink (about 3-5 minutes).
