  • 3 to 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans unsalted cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuits

Instructions

  1. Spray a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then place them in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, onion powder, garlic powder, melted butter, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture over the seasoned chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 hours.
  5. After cooking, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks, then return it to the pot.
  6. Open the biscuits and cut each into eight pieces. Sprinkle them over the top of the chicken mixture in the slow cooker.
  7. Cover again and cook on HIGH for about 1 hour until biscuits are fully cooked through.
