  • 1 lb yakisoba or linguine noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large wok or skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger; sauté for 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, rice vinegar, and brown sugar. Pour into the wok and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the wok and toss well with the sauce; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil over the noodles and sprinkle with sesame seeds; toss again to combine.
