  • 50 g white sugar (for custard)
  • 7 g plant-based gelatin powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 100 ml heavy cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. In a microwavable container, combine milk, 50 g sugar, and gelatin powder. Let it bloom for 5-10 minutes.
  2. For caramel, mix 50 g sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown; pour into serving cups.
  3. Microwave the milk mixture until warm. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and gradually add warm milk mixture while whisking continuously.
  4. Add heavy cream and vanilla essence; strain the custard mixture into another bowl.
  5. Pour custard over set caramel and refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
