Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, pumpkin puree, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Add flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, and salt; mix until a dough forms.
  4. Chill the dough for 25 minutes in the refrigerator.
  5. Roll dough into balls (1 ½ – 2 tablespoons each) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 18 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
  7. Prepare frosting by mixing softened cream cheese and butter until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract.
