  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 46 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat until amber in color. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. In the bowl with browned butter, mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract; combine well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Form dough into balls and flatten slightly before placing on sheets.
  5. Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden. Allow cooling completely before icing.
  6. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, chai spice blend, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cream until smooth. Dunk cookie tops into glaze.
