  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz fettuccine (or pasta of choice)
  • Reserved pasta water, as needed

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Season diced chicken with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear chicken until golden brown (6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (30 seconds). Stir in honey and simmer for 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream to create a smooth sauce; simmer until slightly thickened (2–3 minutes).
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and toss with sauce. Add drained pasta and combine, using reserved pasta water if needed.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with parsley or green onions.
