  • 30g caster sugar
  • 2 heaped teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • Dairy-free milk (for brushing)
  • Vegan caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash, peel, core, and slice the apples thinly. Toss with sugar and cinnamon in a bowl until well coated.
  3. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Cut into squares or circles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each pastry piece and drizzle with vegan caramel if desired. Brush edges with dairy-free milk and fold over to seal.
  5. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
