  • 3 slices thick-cut turkey bacon (chopped)
  • 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 2 ribs celery (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup beef steak (cut into cubes)
  • 2 chicken thighs (skinless, boneless, cut into cubes)
  • 1 chicken breast (cut into cubes)
  • 10 oz can diced tomatoes with chilies
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 lb farfalle or penne pasta
  • Green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, cook chopped turkey bacon with onion, bell pepper, and celery until soft.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  3. Incorporate cubed beef steak and cook until slightly caramelized.
  4. Mix in chicken thighs, chicken breast, diced tomatoes, Creole seasoning, and thyme; cook for another 15–20 minutes.
  5. Stir in water, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and browning sauce; simmer for an additional 20 minutes.
  6. Add dry pasta and bring to a boil.
  7. Once boiling, cover and place in a preheated oven at 300°F for 1 hour without opening the lid.
  8. After baking, let it rest covered for another 10 minutes before serving; garnish with chopped green onions.
