  • 7 ounces dark chocolate melting wafers
  • 5 ounces soft caramels
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream (or whole milk)
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 ounce white chocolate melting wafers
  • confetti sprinkles
  • nonpareil sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Place candy molds on a baking sheet for stability.
  2. Melt dark chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Coat the inside of each mold with melted chocolate and chill in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt soft caramels with heavy cream until smooth; stir in chopped pecans.
  5. Fill cooled molds with caramel mixture, leaving space at the top for more chocolate.
  6. Seal with remaining melted chocolate and chill again for 20 minutes.
  7. Carefully unmold eggs and decorate with melted white chocolate and sprinkles if desired.
