  • ¼ cup creamy salad dressing
  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Hot sauce (to taste)
  • 4 drops red food coloring
  • 4 drops blue food coloring
  • 4 drops green food coloring
  • 3 cups water (divided, or as needed)

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil the eggs by placing them in a large saucepan covered with cold water. Bring to a boil, turn off the heat, cover, and let sit for 20 minutes. Drain and cool.
  2. 2. Cut the cooled eggs in half lengthwise and remove yolks. Mash yolks in a mixing bowl and combine with salad dressing, mustard, salt, pepper, and hot sauce.
  3. 3. To color egg whites, mix food coloring with water in small bowls. Soak each set of egg whites for 15 minutes.
  4. 4. Fill each colored egg white half with the yolk mixture using a spoon or piping bag.
  5. 5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
