  • 23 bags of Jolly Rancher hard candies (assorted flavors)
  • 12 tablespoons of water
  • Wooden skewers or popsicle sticks
  • Edible glitter (optional)
  • Sprinkles, crushed nuts, or shredded coconut (optional)
  • White or dark chocolate drizzle (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apples by washing and drying them thoroughly. Insert wooden skewers into the center of each apple.
  2. Unwrap the Jolly Ranchers and place them in a heavy-bottomed saucepan with 1–2 tablespoons of water. Heat over low-medium heat until melted and smooth. Alternatively, use a microwave-safe bowl for melting.
  3. Dip each apple into the melted candy, ensuring an even coat. Let excess candy drip off and place on parchment paper.
  4. Cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the coating to harden. Decorate with optional toppings while still wet.
