  • 1 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 16.9 ounce bag mini M&Ms (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together room-temperature butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Fold in mini chocolate chips and one cup of mini M&Ms. Form small cookie balls and press additional M&Ms on top.
  5. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until lightly golden on the bottoms. Cool before serving.
