  • 4 ounces semisweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs plus 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt together the chopped semisweet chocolate and unsalted butter until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, eggs, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and the melted chocolate mixture until well combined.
